I love the Rain!!
About 5:30 on Friday, Hail (and I'm talking big frozen balls of ice) pounded our heads from out of now where! It was amazing! Carson and Cyrus had so much fun playin in the nasty dirty gutter. I love having a boy!!Friday, July 3, 2009
3rd Annual Phoenix NACE Event Elements - Confectionary Creations & Table Top Decor Competition
This is an event I am very pleased and excited to be a part of!
The best the Valley has to offer in Table Top Decor and Confectionary Creations! This years competition featured the styles inspired by Rio, Cairo, Tokyo and Paris. Designers and pastry chefs alike competed for Best of Class and People's Choice awards as well 1st, 2nd & 3rd place awards for Element Interpretation. There was 16 different table top designs to preview and 11 confectionery creations from the area's best. The event was held on Monday, June 22nd at the Arizona Grand Resort in the grand ballroom.
Proceeds benefited HomeBase Youth Services (www.hbys.org) and the NACE Educational Fund.
Thanks to Stuart Thurlkill with Eyes 2 See Photography for the photos and the link below! Stuart you are a true professional and amazing to work with! My very creative mom and amazing sister helped me with hours of setting up the table we entered. It is the Rio themed, brightly colored one with the beautiful mannequin centerpiece! (Thanks again Fascinations for the mannequin and Mardi Gras Costume Store for the fabulous head dress and costume)
